Individual Therapy
I offer individual therapy for teens, young adults, and adults in Barre, Vermont, and via telehealth throughout Vermont and Maryland. Anxiety, trauma, ADHD, OCD, perfectionism, burnout, depression, a big life transition — whatever you’re working through, my goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and equipped to make real change.
What to Expect in Our First Sessions
In our first session, we spend time getting to know each other. You get a feel for my office and how I work, and I get a sense of what’s bringing you in. I’ll walk you through my approach and give you a rough outline of what treatment might look like. Sometimes, if it feels helpful, I’ll share an early impression of what I’m noticing, and we’ll always talk it through together before it becomes part of the plan. From there, you lead on what you want to work on, past or present.
A Small Caseload, On Purpose
I intentionally keep a small caseload so I can give each client real, individualized attention. I don’t book sessions back-to-back-to-back. That means I have genuine flexibility if your schedule needs to shift, and time between sessions to actually think about what’s going to help you most.
Feedback Is Welcome
I know it’s not always easy to give your therapist feedback. I welcome it anyway. This work goes better when we can be honest with each other.
